MEPs SET TO ENDORSE CIA RENDITION REPORT

As the European Parliament prepares to debate and vote on the Fava report into alleged torture rendition flights conducted by the CIA, Baroness Sarah Ludford MEP, vice-chair of the CIA Committee, said:

"The report's conclusions are based on solid and well-researched evidence including flight logs and direct testimony of victims.

"As the Committee turns to the second phase of its work, seeking answers from governments on the secret prisons allegations, the united determination of national and Euro-MPs is essential."
